So I've been making a long campaign following a group of young adventures in the middle of a trades strike which could lead to war. there quest that started off to drop supplies has turned into them going to leaders for passage for their supplies, to them stopping civil wars, to going to each high end supplier and recourse controller of each race to end the strike/war.
They have made 3 races sign a trades agreement but now need the dwarfs. I'm trying to find a clan to support the adventures but also a few clans that try to stop them, but every time I try to find clans I find fan pages that give different Clan names and different goals. for example I found one called Clan horn and it seemed promising so I searched the name for more info but only that fan page existed for it, and when I look at the D&D Player guide or character maker it tells me that dwarfs are often in Clans but thats it so how do i find info on Dwarf clans?
Failing that, just make up a clan name. I tend to go with Clan Boulder-Shoulder when I need a helpful clan of dwarves, Clan Flintheart for a more sinister sounding group, or some other combination of rock, mining, or forging combined with some other words to sound name-y.

Not to be confused with Clan Over-the-Shoulder Boulder Holder, the only clan to take the "no one can tell male and female dwarves apart" meme from the opposite end of the gender spectrum.
I checked my Races of Stone book from 3.5e, it didn't have any clans. Looking at the clans in the Forgotten Realms though, it's pretty evident the writers just smashed together words that evoked whatever vibes they were going for. Here's some antagonistic clan name ideas: Foebane, Ironaxe, Steadyarm, Hardhome, Battlebeard, Bloodfist.
Just make up your own dwarf clans. The PHB contains lore mostly for the Forgotten Realms, so that lore is not always applicable for other settings. You can try the D&D wiki if you want more lore, but keep in mind that lore is specific to setting, and probably specific to which edition of D&D as well. So if you and your table like to stick with official canon, make sure you look in the right setting, and maybe edition too.
If you are playing in a homebrew setting, there is no point in following canon, so just make up your own clan. It is honestly so much easier in my opinion to make up your own stuff without worrying about whether it is officially canon or not.

The Forgotten Realms wiki has a page on Dwarves, the wiki also has a category page about Dwarven clans, maybe that can help you.

There was a supplement for AD&D 2nd edition called Dwarves Deep. https://www.dmsguild.com/product/16822/FR11-Dwarves-Deep-2e It still is one of the best info books on Dwarves even if tit's FR centric.
