Hey y'all first post. Me and the girlfriend are starting a new campaign and we wanted to rip off the Mauler twins from the comic and show 'Invincible' Both of us are going to be identical with neither of us knowing who is the original. We'll be the same race but we don't know our classes yet. We have session 0 tomorrow and we'll all be finishing our characters then.
The setting of the game is like a 1920's film noir, all of us students at a boarding school. Magic isn't impossible but its hush hush and frowned upon. Characters are to be humanoid-like (The very shortened and sweet version)
Give me some ideas! Also, thoughts on S2 of invincible?
Hm. My take would be barbarian, with some sort of access to casting Heroism on each other. Not precisely invincible, but damn that takes a long time to take down.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
Oooh, tha'd be tough. Bard and paladin get it at first level but they use charisma to cast; but if I was playing a barbarian charisma would be my lowest stat.

Well - you do not need charisma for Heroism =)
But really, I was wondering if it could come from some other source. Not a Feat I guess, although that would be so convenient. An item? Or a class dip, I guess.

Artificers seems the obvious choice.
I'd say wizard so you can get access to the Clone spell, but the Maulers are tough, strong characters.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
