I was wanting to buy a feat to use in the D&D beyond character sheet but I don't care much to buy the entire book for one thing but I'm not seeing a way to pick and choose things to buy now where is that?
You can't anymore. The Marketplace was revamped about a month of so back and piece meal a la carte purchases was removed as a buying option. It's now buy the book, or content share, or homebrew it. If you go to feedback, there's a fairly lively thread of people lodging their complaint on this change.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
Just homebrew it in, it's allowed so long as you don't publish it (which you have no need to do). There's no need to waste any previous purchases or effort put into homebrewing.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Corporate money grab to milk us clean. These corpo's gotta go. Too many gonks thinking they can lock onto our wallets, they'll end up zeroing themselves in the progress.
Non-Paying people can homebrew everything even without a subscription, I believe it just won't be shared. Only reason I bought the books is because I know I'll be using all the content.
I complained and got the response below. They have removed the option to buy individual parts of books. Everyone please complain and let them know exactly how you feel about that decision!

So now $30 for the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide so my 10 year old can have booming blade on his character sheet? I was happy to invest in the 2024 Handbook and will undoubtedly end up buying Xanather's, but this is just infuriating when very specific cantrips and spells are locked to an entire book I otherwise don't need or care about.
Sub to DND Beyond needs to include all character building options if WoTC ever wants to get families and casuals on board with paying monthly. Taking away piecemeal purchases was 100% the wrong call and will just send players to other sites / homebrew etc.

Booming Blade and Green Flame Blade got reprinted in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything (as did the Bladesinger). You still have to buy the whole book but at least it's got a lot more content that's useable by players. Otherwise you can use the homebrew tools on DDB to recreate the spell for personal use.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Really appreciate the valuable pointer @6thLyranGuard! I tried out the homebrew tools this afternoon and made a modified version of the cantrip that seems like it should do the trick for my fam's immediate use. (Would have been very happy to spend $2 to save the time but c'est la vie.) Sounds like Xanather's and Tasha's should both go on my must buy list.
Yes, Xanathar's and Tasha's are the two best books for players after the PHB itself, both add multiple subclasses, magic items, spells, and optional rules to the game, and Tasha's also has full rules for the Artificer class.

Unfortunately, the option to buy specific parts of a book is no longer available. Purchases on DDB are now restricted to buying the entire book.

ffs Seriously? Well that's incredibly annoying, I'm not buying a whole book for a few things. Oh well back to pen and paper it is then I guess. lol

They should really make it so that you can again

I think that they did away with that Feature. I was looking to do the same thing and I read online that we can't do that anymore.
I think you should bring back that feature. It was worked really well.
