I am looking to create a few characters in DnD Beyond (fantastic site by the way) and realized some of the spells are missing. It turns out from reading more, those are unlocked by purchasing the player manual.
I have actually already purchased the pre-order for the 2024 player manual, though it turns out I purchased it at wizards of the coast instead. From memory when I went to purchase from D&D Beyond I was directed to purchase elsewhere at wizards of the coast because I was in Australia. The confirmation email has D&D Beyond in title so I think they are affiliated some how.
Is there any way to register this purchase so I have access to the spells in the character creation? I couldn't find a way to do this (even after linking with the wizards account).
Welcome to the site Myretheran. I'm not completely clear what you preordered from your post. If you order a physical copy of a book that does not give you access to the digital product on DnD Beyond. The physical books and digital products here on DDB require separate purchases.
If you preordered the digital copy of the 2024 Player's Handbook here on DDB you just need to be patient a few more days, it becomes available Sept 17.
By the way, if you are going to be in a campaign with someone who has a digital copy of the PHB they will be able to share it once it becomes available in September.

If you ordered the digital copy (either by itself or in the physical+digital bundle), you should get a code by email to put into DDB. Unfortunately, unlike the other TTRPGs that I use, the digital isn't free with the purchase.

Thanks all. I did preorder the digital + physical bundle of the PHB and was able to redeem the code on D&D beyond so it sounds like it should be ok if I wait a bit. Looking forward to it :-)
I ordered, but no code, where can I find that? Found how to sync, but still dont see it. I dont understand how if I can go to my FLGS to pick up a hardcopy, why we dont have access yet? I completely understand 14 days is two weeks.

You should not be able to go to your FLGS and get the. Book until Sept 3rd. If your FLGS is selling it now, they are doing so against WotC Street Date. If you have a master tier subscription you will gain Ascess on the 3rd to the digital content. If you have a standard subscription you get access on the 10nth and the book officially launches on the 17th and if you don't have a subscription you gain access then.
We will likely gain access shortly after the severs come back up Tuesday.

You stated “The confirmation email has D&D Beyond in title so I think they are affiliated some how.”
D&D Beyond is owned by WoTC now. The 2024 rules are currently on preorder so they are not available yet for use.
