I'm thinking about starting a podcast and need some ttrpg horror stories to react to. so please feel free to share something that happened at your table. I'm specifically looking for table drama (bad dms, jerk players, est.).
I once had a level 5 or 6 wizard (2nd edition) in a small party. We happened upon a village the morning after it had been raised by what we later learned were werewolves. The entire town has been brutally slaughtered. The sight of all that blood and gore prompted willpower/wisdom saves, which my wizard failed horribly. Ever after, whenever meeting someone new, he always felt compelled to relate to them the tale of the village slaughter. It got so bad that our cleric would cast silence on me, usually without my even noticing.
OOC
Once part of a gaming group that was adventuring in Undermountain. One player bought the boxed set so could read ahead and prepare for our most likely encounters. The DM found out and started building her own encounters. The player complained and demanded that she follow the published encounters. His hostility over the issue led to him being banned from her game and her home.
I'm looking for OOC. As for the story seems like a bit of an exaggeration on both their ends, but hey what do I know. thanks for posting in this thread btw.

Not sure if you mean IC or OOC.
