So, I’m going to be part of a campaign next week, and I decided on a kobold wizard named Tott, with the charlatan background. I’m writing this to try and get help with any cons he’d pull, fitting with his background. One of the two solid ideas I have is a fake building inspector, using the kobolds’ adeptness with tunnels to his advantage, in which he’d pretend to inspect the foundation while stealing a small amount from the building he’s “inspecting”. Another idea is that he’d have an appointment about a supposedly magic item, he’d use Identify and then act like the item is enchanted, asking for a small fee in return for identifying the item’s “magical properties”. If anyone has any other ideas for a kobold wizard’s potential bag of tricks, I’d appreciate the ideas.

I am more intrigued by the fact that a Kobold can be a Wizard.
