This article was released recently, and it has provided us with new information on the new MM 2024. My top three things that I think are interesting about it are the: Over 85 new monsters, the gear on the state block, and the different variations of monsters.
What caught your eye and what are you most excited about for the upcoming Monster Manual?
Remember when the Monster Manual was in loose leaf format? Man, I wish they would go back to that.
Hahahaha, yes, I had the 2e Monstrous Compendium Volume 1. I put it into a 3-Ring Binder and loved that you could remove the pages you needed, and then put them back.

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.

Craft knife and a hole punch, and you can have it. Most people don't like carving up books though!
Or, as we are in the Digital Age, you just print the Digital Version on 8.5x11 and grab a Hole-Punch, much easier than carving up a book...

I had 1-3 and the Spelljammer volume with the notebook TSR sold for it all to go in.

Also for awhile new additions were done the same so you COULD organize them in to one huge binder by whatever system you wanted to. I think I had 4-5 additions to the original. MMII, and several world monster lists.
Back then I ended up doing a 2 tier tab format. First by challenge rating in alphabetical order in that section, and then a separate tab with types (dragon, humanoid, etc). So I could search quickly by difficulty and type.
But with a digital version now I can just pull whatever I need and print it just as easily as I use them, and create a binder for them as I go. Rather than reprinting all the time, or printing them all at once.
