Well Kotath, Dungeon of the mad mage is 1 of only 2 books that go to level 20. Vecnas is the other one and I have that.
Second, Ghosts of Saltmarsh is set in Greyhawks adventures and Dungeons and dragons just published the new DM guide with the World of Greyhawks in it. So being me, and many others, I want all things Greyhawk 5E so I have adventures readily available to me that goes with the new Greyhawk 5E world.
Things sell until sales slow and shelf-room grows tight with new product. As I said above, my LGS has several copies of these adventures sitting on their bookcases because only a few of us DMs bought them. Not because the adventures are bad, but because they are old. Every few months new stuff arrives and the owner has to make room for the new product on the shelves. The unsold old product either gets stacked in a pile or table and begins collecting dust. Stores aren't going to order more stock if they still have unsold stock. Suppliers aren't going to stock more old stock that stores won't order. WotC won't dedicate printer orders to fill for old stock that suppliers aren't ordering.
If you want an old book, I have great news; there are likely LGS stores everywhere that have a copy or two laying around somewhere unsold. If you can't find one somehow, I have better news; I know a store that has what you need. Let me know if you want contact info. They have unsold books all the way back to the 3.0 era still piled up in places.

Why are you being condescending and talking down to people as if they don't understand that? Also, I have great news. A lot of those "F" LGS stores have realized these books are hard to find and have jacked the prices up 3x or more on eBay.

I'm not sure why you feel explaining why things may be hard to find but also offering access to a location that sells material (however old) at MSRP with no mark-up is condescending.

I would love to find these places Metamongoose. Everywhere I have looked for them they are 100+ dollars and climbing. I know people were talking about ordering from the UK but I am not doing that because I don't trust it. But I want these books at their MSRP with no mark up. That interests me the most! And Thank You.

LGS or eBay are your main options
