It also has updated Species including a Half Elf, so there is that.
where did they mention this... because this is the most important reason to get the book if so.
They haven't really made an official announcement of what species options are included, but one of the preview images released does include a list: Khorvar, Changeling, Kalashtar, Shifter, and Warforged. Khorvar is an Eberron-specific term for Half-Elves.
Khorovar isn't really just "Half-Elf" though. It means "Child of Khorvaire" and while their heritage is elven and human, they're essentially considered an independent species from the others. In previous editions, mechanically they've been Half-Elves, but it's not really a replacement for having the actual species generally outside of Eberron.
The species is necesary to manage the Dragonmarks that only appear on Khorovar like House Lyrandar's Mark of Storm. I'll be interested to know if they include the Jhorgun'taal, because the same logic is necessary for House Tharashk's Mark of Finding, though Humans can *also* have it.
"Dragonmarks. Also included are a collection of feats that provide a new way to join the dragonmarked houses of Eberron. These feats allow characters of any species to take and improve their dragonmarks." -from the last Artificer UA
Honestly, hard to say how much say he had in keeping lore on track from that. Might mean they ran everything past him, or it could just mean they asked him a few questions.
There’s no confirmation of what’s included beyond just that there’s 25 monsters. I’m guessing at least one Warforge stat block is a reasonable expectation but until it releases we won’t know
I imagine there'll be be a few Warforged. There was a move to providing a couple of versions of a monster for use in the MM, I suspect there'll be similar mentality for creatures that work with that framework.

The preorder screen said the dice would be released on August 5.

Given that all Dragonmarks are origin feats now, I'd not bank on that.

If it's not limited by species, it's not Eberron.

Keith Baker is in some promotional credits. The "appeal to lore" is invalid if he's willing to put his name anywhere on this.

Depends how he’s credited; sometimes the original creators are just name-dropped as an acknowledgement- “based on the work of X”, that kind of thing.
IIRC it was a credit in regards to Special Consultancy.

& even then, this isn't 2014 Eberron, so changes are going to happen, regardless of external book lore of dubious canon.
Basic DND is right there if you want unchanged lore RAW free of the boogeyman.

I must of missed that. Thanks
Did it? I must of missed that. Thanks
What monsters are included? Does anyone know? I’m hoping to see some Warforged. But I haven’t heard what will be included yet.

I'd imagine the Warforged is an updated player race, and therefore uses the standard Humanoid statblocks.
That said:
There's a lot more to Eberron than just the Warforged.
