In terms of mechanics, they work with both systems - items have not changed very much, so they can be used in either place. In terms of site functionality, though they list their weapon properties, the spells and monsters they reference link to the 2014 rules, which is annoying if you are running the 2024 system.
In terms of general feedback, I recommend this book - it is one of the very few third party supplements on this site that are actually worth the money (quality control and balancing is laughably bad on most of them). The items in the book are mechanically unique and fun, but often not in purely powerful ways. They also do a good job ascribing the proper rarity to equipment - frankly, the book might do a better job at that than Wizards does.
Overall, one of the best supplemental books on this site - and easily the best of the third-party content here.
This is super exciting! I've been waiting for this day for a long time! Do you know if there is a timeline on book one going to the site as well? I've been home brewing your weapons and stuff for years now it feels like. Like a dream come true https://xender.vip/
Unfortunately we have no timelines on any third party books being added, they just sort of turn up once they've finished doing the programming. It's been said on a previous thread by the community manager that it was Hit Point Press's decision to release Book 2 rather than Book 1 but that DDB hope to add Book 1 at some point
Crooked Moon was kind of an outlier in regards to advanced announcements, but I heard that Kobold Press is going to do a Kickstarter for a book that will likely be added DDB and the upcoming Grimm Hollow books will be added here at some capacity if that helps. I also read on the Griffin’s Saddlebag subreddit that they planned to release Book 1 here at some point, but I have no idea if that’s still happening or not.

Is it ready for 2024 rules or 2014? I am thinking of getting it. Any feedback is welcome. Thank you :-)
