I was looking for clarification on an interaction in the 2024 rules. One sentinel option allows a PC to make an opportunity attack (which includes unarmed strikes) when a enemy within 5 feet of you hits a creature other than you. It also states that if you hit an creature with an OA it's speed is reduced to zero, if I were to use the shove option for an unarmed strike, does it also reduce their movement to zero? If so, it could be a great tool to prevent extra attacks, as they are shoved out of reach and cannot move closer.

ModeratorA hit only happens when there’s an attack roll involved. Shoving does not involve an attack roll, so it doesn’t count as a hit.
