Unfortunately, the Curmudgeon in the Cellar, Tim Kask has passed today. Too bad he couldn't have made it into 2026. He was responsible for quite a few things we enjoy today. Like the bullete and magic missile always hitting.
Just to issue a slight correction to the OP, the man's name is Tim Kask, not "Cask" - first post and title should probably be updated accordingly.
Well worth reading up on the man - he was an important figure in D&D's origins, not only the items listed above, but also helped start up Dragon Magazine and other important aspects of the game's historical development. Condolences to his family.
