Is there a map of the Forgotten Realms including Icewind Dale, The Sword Coast, and down in the deserts of Calimsham? In essence the places we read about in the Drizzt stories.
You probably want all those locations being present on the same map? In 2nd Edition there was the Forgotten Realms Atlas (https://www.dmsguild.com/m/product/120837), and there were region specific boxes with source maps available. I need to check if all those locations are somewhere on the same map, not having access to the material atm.
To my knowledge Mike Schley‘s recent FR map (https://prints.mikeschley.com/p858006957) is not covering icewind dale (but it‘s not far away in the nw at the top of the mainland), and the Calimshan desert (which I remember being quite further down way below Baldur‘s Gate).
The B/W Faerun map in the link above is showing icewind dale and calimshan
D&D isn't super consistent with it's maps. Major cities stay in the same place, but mountain ranges, deserts, marshes, lakes etc... move around quite a bit. The 2nd edition atlas is pretty good for the Sword Coast, but as you head east it becomes radically different than the current edition. The only area that is really always the same is Luskan to Baldurs Gate and as far east as the High Forest. Of course this is like only 10% of the continent...
I've heard multiple interviews with D&D staff commenting on a lack of map. They really don't want to make the world set in stone. They want the players to make up their own towns and their own worlds so they purposely make things ambiguous and wide open.
I checked the 2e FR Atlas. It gives only the same view of what you want, as Mike Schley‘s Faerun map. But Mike‘s map is prettier. 🙂
The 1e modul hardcopy modul of FR3, Empires of the Sands is having a close up map of this region. There is a pdf version available at drivetrurpg, though it seems they omitted to include the maps for this module.
Awesome! Thanks for the links. I’ll check them out.
Ultimately I don’t mind a somewhat vague map, but I would like a basic overall map that I can include smaller towns and villages in. But I’d like for it to include the major cities we read of, as well as areas such as The Spine of The World mountain range.
Ultimately I want a paper map and prefer it to have the hexes, one large enough to see a little bit of detail. I don’t want one that’s printable as it would lose detail.
I’ve only looked over a bit of what’s in the links you all have provided but will look a bit in-depth later on. Still don’t have an actual headcount of who’s in and time will tell how many of those will actually come each time. Regardless I’d like a map for myself which wouldn’t need to be so large or detailed.

Perpetually annoyed that Eldritch Knights can't use Eldritch Blast, Eldritch Smite, and Eldritch Sight.

Yes, but the map above does neither include icewind dale, nor calimshan...

This one is specific to Icewind Dale, but does cost...idk how accurate it is or canonical.
