One of my best roleplayers really wants to expand his elf backstory.  Wants to visit a homeland, we have been vauge where he is from so I have some room to work with.  Am I correct in saying that Silverymoon is the closest physical location to where we started (Neverwinter/Phandalin, etc.)

Any other ideas for a cool elven place to visit and most importanly somewhere that I can find resources (map, encounters, etc)
