Preferred playstyle : I’d say I prefer a campaign to be about 70 or 80% Deep, multi-faceted roleplay, with around 30 or 20% very high stakes combat. But I’m super flexible in this regard. I can work with however a DM wants to run their game.
RPG experience : At least over a decade and a half.
DnD 5e experience : Just about one year. But absolutely addicted by now.
Roll20 experience : I’ve only played sessions on Roll20 for the entire length of my DnD experience. Because of COVID, I’ve not had the chance to play at a table yet. But I look forward to it!
Do you prefer participation in a one-shot? or commitment to a long-term campaign? : I’m game for either one-shot or long term, but I much prefer long-term campaigns where I can establish lasting and meaningful relationships with other characters and players.
Character name: Nox
Class(include the archetype): Would begin as a Twilight Cleric, but multiclass into Chronurgy Wizard.
Background: Far Traveler
Race: Human
Alignment: Chaotic Good
What would make this character unique among others of the same race and class?: I believe his age, gender, and general demeanor would betray what someone might typically think of when crossing paths with a nineteen year old boy. He carries himself with an almost ethereal, regal, and dignified poise, and one might get the sense that his childhood was cut short, in place of finding his purpose in life far earlier than most.
Traits: Nox often comes across as aloof, stoic, and mysteriously distant. He generally only speaks when there is something to be said, and despite his age and youthful appearance, when he does have something to say, he does so with a wisdom that is far beyond his years. He seems to be blessed with a gentle, and mystically benevolent demeanor. Perhaps one of the best examples of his mysticism, would be that of the blindfold he is never seen without, yet where ever he goes, he does not trip or stumble, and when he turns his hidden gaze toward you, the sense of being watched is unmistakable.
Ideals: As a devout Cleric of Celestian, his main endeavor and ideal is that of always expanding ones horizon. To open ones mind to the impossible, to council kindness and thoughtfulness into others. To see as much as one can see before their time in this world comes to an end. To always gaze up toward the stars in wonder.
Bonds: Nox is especially fond of his surrogate father and childhood mentor, Azimuth, a High Priest of Celestian who found the boy after he had been orphaned. He also enjoys the company of his familiar, an Owl named Minerva.
Flaws: Given his generally placid, calm, and stoic demeanor, he can often come off as cold, distant, or uncaring. He recognizes himself as an oddity, and so reinforces the idea that others must see him this way as well, even if it isn’t necessarily true. He also has a particular distrust of Warlocks.
Backstory summary: Nox is a young male Cleric of Celestian, no older than nineteen or so years of age. His presence is that of a mystic, a mysterious seer of the night. Bid forth to wander unexplored lands, as many of his ilk are wont to do, he looks to help others understand that the night is not a time to be feared, but embraced, for it offers protection and a time to rest from the woes of the day. Clothed not in black, but blackness, he exerts the power granted unto him by the God Celestian, teaching others of astrology, astronomy, divination, and the power that lay within the darkest of nights, and in the cosmos beyond.
Character name: Odin St.Castille Carteneaux
Class(include the archetype): Gunslinger
Background: Noble
Race: Human (Custom Lineage if allowed.)
Alignment: Chaotic Good
What would make this character unique among others of the same race and class?: As the eldest son and heir of an infamous noble family, Odin commands a level of prestige and respect his name has earned over several generations. In his youth, he proves himself a prodigious marksman and sharpshooter, a tradition carried through his paternal tree dating back to the founding of their house. Apart from that, House Carteneaux has fashioned a name and brand through the trade and selling of elegantly crafted, designer quality timepieces throughout the country. Such has been the success of their business, that their place among the aristocracy was secured long ago. Theirs are the Rolex's of the DnD world.
Traits: Odin is very much mindful of the reputation of his family name. In the higher echelon of royal or high-born circles, he remains on his best behavior, striving to live up to his name and further it's influence beyond where House Carteneaux already holds sway. His is prim, posh, proper, and possess a razor sharp focus when he sets his mind to something.
Ideals: Odin is largely altruistic, and has the tendency to strive for things beyond the realm of his aristocratic and noble upbringing. He recognizes his talent with a firearm, and constantly struggles between fulfilling his responsibility to his family and name, and using his talents to help others who can not help themselves.
Bonds: His father is Count Edmont Alphonse Carteneaux. His mother, Countess Camille Marie Carteneaux nee St.Castille. He has three sisters; Céleste, Emmaline, and Ebba.
Flaws: He is far too reliant on the prestige, financial power and political power that his family possesses. His greatest fear is being unable to live up to his family's name and legacy.
Backstory summary: Born into a wealthy, influential and highborn merchant clan, Odin St.Castille Carteneaux swiftly learned the social graces of life in the Capitol, but preferred to spend his time in the wilder lands outside it. Equally adept at mingling with the moneyed elite or stalking a deer through the mud of the forest, he could confidently track a bird on the wing over the merchant districts, or put a shot through the eye of a hare at a hundred paces with his father’s repeater musket. He is poised to become head of his family one day, but as he has grown into a strong young man, the call of adventure has grown stronger yet.
Character name: Lady Seraphine
Class(include the archetype): Undead Warlock (Banshee Patron)
Background: Far Traveler
Race: Reborn (Custom Lineage Human before Death)
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Traits: Seraphine, perhaps first and foremost, is as equally beautiful as she is unnerving to behold. Her demeanor is that of stoicism and utter stillness. The calm before the storm, the gap of silence before the scream. She waits, and she watches, and she strikes at those who would bar her way with little hesitance or regret. She possesses an integral understanding of fear, and how best it might be manipulated to achieve her wants. Hers is a quiet calm, a stillness of the grave, veiling a unknowable rage lurking just below the surface. Ideals: What drives her may not even be known to her. Vague visions and recollections of past lives which she can not distinguish. Something else stirs, taking hold of her, and pushing her toward the unknown. Bonds: Beyond that shade entity which extracts it's toll upon her vessel, any family, friends, or acquaintances she may have once possessed, are now long dead. Flaws: Her very nature now makes it difficult to rationalize certain actions. Hers is a power that may serve as detriment to both friend, and foe. Backstory summary: This...remains a mystery.
Hello!! I was wondering if you would be interested in playing as one of your characters in a campaign called The Real Influence of Gods its a heavy rp / casual / slightly combative campaign where the players would be playing as gods , demigods , dryads , or other divine beings choosing sides in an all out war in order to save multiple dimensions and or universes. If you would be available around 10 pm - 12 am EST as a start time Friday or Sundays it would be a good fit time wise. My discord is lemonflavoredmoth#1541
