Game: D&D 5e

Group type: Online
Experience: ~3 years with D&D 5e and over a decade's worth of experience with roleplaying games.
Location/Timezone: CEST/UTC+2
Schedule: Wednesdays 18.30-22.00 PM CEST (weekly or bi-weekly) / Fridays between 18.30-00.00 CEST (bi-weekly) / Saturdays 14.30-18.00 CEST or 20.00-00.00 CEST (bi-weekly)
Roles sought: 4-5 players per game - any level of experience is perfectly fine as long as you're 18+!
Game style: Casual games with a heavy focus on roleplaying (around 65-80% roleplay, depending on the module), character development and interacting with the world. While I follow the basic rules, there is plenty of opportunities for creative solutions and experimentation in my games if it pushes the narrative in an interesting way. The exact themes of a game depends on what I run, but my games tend to be light-hearted with moments that will either make you laugh or tug at your heartstrings. For these games, however, I am hoping to run something that will involve queer themes and characters (at the very least in terms of NPCs).

Hey everyone! I'm Gael. I'm non-binary, based in Denmark and I've been DM'ing several D&D games across the past 3 years. I've been taking a look at my schedule and found that I should have room for a group or two in certain time slots. I specifically want to reach out to find other LGBTQ+ people, who may be looking for a group (including one for LGBTQ+ people only), but as long as you're open-minded and cool with some focus on queer themes, there's a seat at my table for you. I have several modules I am considering running, though I am open to other suggestions.

What I can offer you as a player is a game where you get to play a character that you enjoy and get to flesh out, even if it means making some tweaks and changes along the way. Expect plenty of ambience and immersion through the use of music, sound effects, animations and battlemaps through Foundry VTT. Even when running a module, I tend to make changes to get your character specifically involved in the plot and setting of the game. My goal is for everyone at the table to have a good time.

You simply need a microphone (camera is optional) for Discord's voice/video chat, a computer with access to a browser to run Foundry VTT. All I ask is that you come to the table with a willingness to work with everyone else to create a memorable story and give room for everyone to explore their character and various aspects of the world.

Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep

The greed of mortals has awakened a powerful entity long thought destroyed. For eons, this mighty champion of the gods has been imprisoned in the darkest depths of Exandria. His name has been forgotten, as have his heroic deeds. Languishing in despair, he calls out for new heroes to save him.

The wind’s howling increases as they turn their gaze down toward the village of Barovia. Far below, yet not beyond their keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered their domain. Strahd’s face forms the barest hint of a smile as their dark plan unfolds. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited. 

Curse of Strahd - but with a twist! She is the Ancient takes the classical module and turns it on its head with genderbent characters and interesting changes to the story and locations in Barovia. Brave the Mists to take down the vampire Strahd, but beware... great ancient evils lie hidden in the lands of Barovia.

Odyssey of the Dragonlords

In a land where even the gods are bound by oaths and prophecies... At the dawn of time, a war between the gods and Titans left the world of Thylea forever changed. Thousands of years later, the first mortals arrived, carried by ship and dragon. The Dragonlords were the champions who overthrew the Titans 500 years ago and forged the Oath of Peace. But the power of the Oath has waned, and now the Titans seek vengeance. You are one of the heroes called by prophecy to end the conflict once and for all. Poets will sing of your deeds for centuries to come... if you survive.

A Greek-inspired campaign set in the land of Thylea. Take up the mantle as one of Fate's chosen ones to defeat the Titans and save the land of Thylea. Join Strixhaven University for four years of magical chaos. Make new friends or rivals, take your magical classes, and exams and take part in a large variety of extra-curriculars to improve your skills, earn a little money... or perhaps find romance? School is fun, but darkness lurks in the corridors. Can you balance life at Strixhaven while battling the evil that threatens your wonderful university life?

Currently it looks like it might be possible to put together 3 groups for Friday, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening (all bi-weekly games). Friday's campaign is still undecided, bit Saturday afternoon will likely be Strixhaven and Saturday evening most likely Call of the Netherdeep. There is still seats available in all three games.

 Hello fellow enby (I'm also queer & ace). I am still figuring out conversions for those time slots since they're listed in non-gmt but I believe denmark is 7-8hrs ahead of pacific coast us so I'm eyeing the Friday evening or saturday evening (i work saturday mornings to early afternoon) slots. I honestly am down to play any of them except Strahd. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea (esp playing with genders) but being someone who has been immersed in d&d lores & mythos for almost a decade, I find him to be like an unkillable Big Bad & the fun of playing in the barovia sandbox is sucked out (no pun intended) for me. I think I'm most excited for Netherdeep since I've been absorbing & binging lots of cr content & Exandria is just such a fascinating world that I would love to play in. I watched a 2 part Strixhaven campaign dmed by Aabria Iyengar & want to play in that world too but the currently listed timeslot doesn't work.

It would be awesome to have a queer-only campaign but it's not necessary for me to come to the table ready to rp. I have about a decade of playing experience across multiple versions of D&D & while I have tons of race/class ideas, I tend to build my characters to create a more balanced party (esp after playing a campaign where we had zero healers of any kind, challenging but fun). I would need to make a foundry acct but that's no issue & my discord is dark_neverland#6664 I'm not sure what else to include

Yes, I have seen your message! Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to sit down and reply to your message (or anyone else's). I managed to quickly lay out some spreadsheets to see how I could put potential groups together and the listed modules are based on the replies I've gotten - it isn't 100% set in stone yet though.

I expect to get back to everyone who have messaged me or replied in this thread a bit later today!
