Hi all,

Complete and utter newbie seeks friendly group. My Fiance has annoyingly gotten me into Critical Roll Explaining it to me as 'communal storytelling' which is catnip to me. So now i'm looking for a group of my own. Whilst my partner has in the past DM'd he's currently way to busy at work to commit to a group. 

Game: D&D 5e Preferably, but happy to try something else with a little hand holding
Group preferred: Face-to-face Would consider online.
Experience: New to D&D 
Location/Timezone: GMT
Availability: twice a month, Weekends preferred
Preferred role: Player
Game style:  Big fan of roleplay. I'm a 29 year old huge fantasy nerd with a deep, deep, scary love of narrative and storytelling. However i'm happy generally to go with the flow. Team Player.

Did you ever find a local group?

Did anything come of this? My wife and I will be moving to Bridgend in May (back to Bridgend for her), and I don't want to miss out on DnD!

I see you prefer weekends, I think we would prefer weekday evenings but maybe something could be worked out.

Did either of you ever find a group?  I'm currently in two games during the week (and DM one for the kids on the weekend) but I have a funny feeling they will be coming to an abrupt end in the near future due to IRL drama between the DM and one of the players.

Certainly am - Tondu.  And nope, the drama isn't due to me - just an innocent bystander.

I'll get back in touch once we're settled then, see what the situation is by that point.
