Game style:  Greetings! You can call me Al! I'm a first time DM looking for players to play through The Lost City, the first module out of the Quests from the Infinite Staircase campaign book. I ran through it once myself both as the players and DM and it's really good. I certainly don't anticipate and overly serious game. We'll be playing the game over foundry and on discord using voice, I just have to send you a link and a login for your character and you play straight from your browser. I'd like to keep things within the three core rule books. We will be tracking ration and water consumption and you'll have to buy sacks or backpacks to keep all your loot in, including gold. Things that are small enough you can keep in your pockets if they aren't already overloaded with trinkets and of course you can have a few things like weapons strapped to your back or belt. Adventuring is dangerous business! Be prepared to potentially need to find a way to return vanquished companions to the living. Perhaps there are creatures willing to aid the party in the mean time nearby... New players welcome! We can learn together! I just ask that you've read through the rules section of the 2024 player's handbook.

House rules:
Tents are required to long rest outdoors.
You must eat half a pound of food and drink two pints of water to complete a short rest.
