Hello, DnD community! I’m currently looking for one or two new players for an ongoing campaign I’m DMing.
General Info:
We are using 2014 rules and are playing in a fantasy setting; however, the world and pantheon are completely homebrew. We currently have a party of four, which consists of a barbarian, artificer, ranger, and druid. We play Sundays from 12pm to 3pm EST. I, as a DM and player, love to roleplay; it’s hard for me to accurately say how much roleplay vs. combat we do. Honestly, it depends on where we are in the story but I would say around 60% roleplaying and 40% combat. We use Discord, DND Beyond, and Owlbear Rodeo.
What we are looking for:
We all have a life beyond the game and things come up but we are looking for someone who can be dependable and committed, within gaming reason.
Please have a good microphone or good audio quality.
Experience doesn’t matter; I’m willing to take on new players. Having a good understanding of the game is nice though.
We all can have fun, be goofy, and crack jokes, but please be respectful.

World Intro:
You all are currently in Eana, a world filled to the brim with wonder and magic. The world itself isn’t terribly old and has its ups and downs; dragons were the first rulers, acting as shepherds for the mortal races, but after the Draconic Age came to an end, they left their kingdoms and territories for reasons unknown. Not long after, the greed of mortals began to show as the different races and families clashed in order to claim what once belonged to the dragons, sparking the Old Veil. The kingdoms, families, and countries that survived during those bloody times are what stand today, and as the new era approached, many decided to set aside their differences and enter a new era of peace. For more than 600 years, the world has been still and quiet during the age of the Dawning; however, during the year 643 D, the Mortanins struck the Parsian countries unprovoked. Not long after, the Mortanian navy created a blockade, preventing anyone from leaving Pars or coming to aid. Royal envoys from Mortem approached the many rulers and councils from around the world and warned them that if any of them were to interfere, there would be grave consequences. Three long years have passed, and to everyone's knowledge, Mortem is still trying to conquer all three of the Parsian countries. Even together, it seems that the Parsians struggle to fend off the Mortanian invaders. However, this isn’t where our story begins; our heroes will start their adventure in a small country to the far south known as Andaraq, hopefully far from the bloodshed and carnage to the north. After traveling through the harsh, unforgiving deserts of Andaraq, you all, one by one, some as a group, others by themselves, finally arrive at Ashkhait, the capital of Andaraq and home of the current Law Lord, Al Ashar the 2nd. Greeted by large crop fields and canals, you all make your way into the city and enter the Outer Western District. You can see the walls that lead into the higher districts in the distance, along with the Northern and Southern Guard Towers located by the Law District, the heart of Ashkhait. Tired from your long journey, you each found a place to rest, but as you made your way through the bustling streets of the outer districts, you all happened to come across a poster. Plain and lackluster, with no name or business on it, just a short message: “Looking for young entrepreneurs to grow along the side of a trading company in the making.” An address is also included at the bottom of the poster, along with instructions. Curious, you all decide to investigate the following morning after a good night's rest, unaware of the wonders and adventures that await you all or the dangers and trials that lurk in the shadows.
