From making your own spells, to discovering mythical creatures. This game has what you'd expect from a Harry Potter inspired setting. Your journey begins at Mordenkainen's School of Magic. Classes are downtime activities you can do to at the start of your day to give you bonuses that you can use until the end of your long rest. Outside of that, I imagine you'll be exploring restricted areas of the school, getting lost in The Underwood, and otherwise getting yourself into trouble. All the while racking up enough points to win the house cup by the end of the year!
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: All players are welcome! Location/Timezone: EST Schedule: Scheduled time will be discussed during session 0. Roles sought: Players. There isn't a limit to how many I'm looking for. The magic school has many houses, so I can always split players into groups (houses) and run separate sessions. Game style: My games tend to have a balance between roleplay and combat.
EDIT: We'll be using roll.20 and Discord for voice chat.
Awesome! If you click the link, there will be a post where you can sign up. For transparency, I should mention that the campaign is only Harry Potter inspired, so the game won't necessarily be set in the Harry Potter universe.
That said, I try to make it as similar as possible. Instead of Hogwarts, it's "Mordenkainen's School of Magic." There are houses, a house cup, magical sports events, competitions between schools, an enchanted forest :P, and you can make your own spells! So if you wanted to cast something like Alohamora, I have a system that allows you to make it in game.
