Hello everyone.  Welcome to a less-than-standard LFG post.

Game: D&D 5e

Group preferred: Online or Face-to-Face

Experience: Semi-veteran (14 years)

Location/Timezone: Palm Bay+Melbourne area, FL, EST (New York Tine)

Availability: Any day except Sundays after 6pm, also available most Saturdays

Preferred role: Player (been DM too much my friends)

Game style: Roleplay, narrative, classical heroic, classical anti-heroic, basically anything except straight dungeon crawling.  Don’t get me wrong, I love exploring dungeons, but as a part of the game not its entirety.

So let me explain what my situation is.

Due to...let’s say “modern circumstances,” most of my normal D&D groups are unable to meet.  Furthermore, I’m DM in all but 1 of them, and I’ve got a seriously backlogged list of fun character ideas.  So taking some inspiration for the artsy side of the internet here, I’ve decided to set up a “Character Adoption/Portfolio.”

I have listed bellow my prime backlogged characters, PCs that for one reason or another I have been hankering to play (or even play again).  I have made first-draft builds of all of them on D&D Beyond here, and the links on each of them lead to those character sheets (all built using Point Buy stats btw).

If you find yourself in need of a role that one of my creations would fill, I would be very interested in talking with you about joining your game.  Alternatively, if you don’t think any of these guys would fit your game but are interested in me as a player, I’m more than willing to workshop with you and make something suitable.

In either case, just leave a response here or PM me and we can start talking about getting me on your server/at your table.  And I would like to mention that all concepts here are intentionally vague so as to be flexible, so if there’s some aspect you don’t care for or a part of your world’s lore won’t vibe with them, just know I’m willing to talk about changes.

We’re going to be running a game here starting next week Wednesday late afternoons into evening over discord/roll20sd&dbeyond that will be streamed on twitch and made into a podcast. Obviously depending on a potential following this will be a long-term deal. If you have a webcam and mic or can get them by next week, shoot me a message. This is a homebrew world, fantasy critical role style with a veteran DM who is retired army at the age of 34. He has a lot of time to make this really really great for us.
