I see so there is no actual custom campaign like content you can upload. say like, you can with obsidian portal.... seems the scope of this DNDB is very limited and ive blown 80usd for the share licnse and the players manual., as i have the hard copy dnd5e manuals and an ultimate Fgrds license.. hmm wonder if i can get my money back..
Unless i guess i can hope the features will expand?
I do like the interface and the char setup.
If you had an exporter of the char sheets to XML? so i can build an FG importer then,, it would be worth it..
Any chance of that? Should not be hard to do.. assuming you store the chars in a DB or in XML already?
Axis.
Yeah, they have said they are working on additional features for campaigns. But no real details on them yet. They usually do a broadcast on twitch with developer updates and post them to YouTube later. The last one was in October(I believe) due to the Holidays.
Personally I use DDB for in person games with my players using phones or tablets to access their characters. I just recently started using FG at the table for DM tool automation and a TV as a map display.
I would love to see a FG import tool myself. I have a friend who was considering building one on his own as a personal learning project.
Yes I'm looking at a WEB site builder from the Db.xml campaign files in FGrnds. Idea would be you create a campaign name, then upload your DB file, and it auto creates the pages, with chars, NPC , public notes, images etc..
Ill keep you posted if i get far.
Would allow the players to look over details out of game.. sort of of a dynamic Obsidian portal concept.

Any updates on the Player Packs?
Any chance of hi-res or player versions of the maps in Volo's guide? Would love to use them in a digital game.
It's good. Thanks for information.
