‘Wait-WHAT? No one knows how we got here?’ from Veeshal. ‘That’s-like-major crazy.’ He stares at everyone with wide eyes. ‘If I wasn’t sent here, or my presence wasn’t requested, then I’m late for Vespers!! Father Superior will be wroth! And I mean WROTH!’ He makes to stand up but with the press of bodies all he manages is a half crouch.
The Aiel touches his arm ‘Wait one.’ She looks to the server. ‘Are we the first peoples to arrive here in such a fashion? With no recall of how we got here? If not, are any of them still around? And it seems we’re all in the mood for the same fare as Veeshal ordered, so please bring some for all around.’
"Hot tea please!" As I climb the chair to be seated, eyes widened at site of the bacon being delivered.
"Our rooms have been paid for?" Ponders a moment "we have been summoned. But why the crazy blackout? My master would disappointed if I had drunk til I blacked out. Nothing in excess! Gluttony destroys the soul!"
Mill water begins loading his plate, and pauses a minute to give thanks. "Sorry, bread, oil, cheese, apples and nothing else get really old after a week!"
"This is rather odd. Were we captured and brought here under some influence? It seems that we are here for some reason. Hopefully not for anything of ill intent."
Soldin readies himself, deciding the conversation outside the window gleamed no importance, he makes his way out of the hallway and into the main tavern area, attempting not to stand out among the others and taking a seat at one of the unoccupied tables near to the bar itself, listening carefully to the ongoing discussions...
After a few moments and hearing the same questions he would like answers to, namely how did he get there, he makes his way over to the bar and edges his way in, leaning on the counter and turning to those talking.
"You folks too, huh? Just woke up here outta nowhere?" he queries, taking a moment to study the faces of those he was talking with...none seemed familiar to him so it didn't seem like a trap, atleast right now it didn't.
You sit there at the table all five of you discussing how you went to bed just fine and woke up here. As you talk about the dream you find out that all of you had the same dream. If you ask the server or the bartender they can not help much about your dream but she does tell you that a shipment of goods has yet to arrive here. She will tell you this. "I know the roads coming here from a village south of here are wrought with raiders. Many hire on a couple guards to see them safely thru but not all make it. I wonder if this late shipment was met with raiders who made off with the goods we were counting on. I know that my inn will niot have enough food to feed all who come here in the next few days. If only there was someone who could go check on this I would give them 50 gold."
"I agree with the Aiel..." Soldin states carelessly, his hands gesturing openly either side of his face as he looks up to make eye contact with the bartender "it would be foolish to even attempt to reconcile any bandit ridden issue on empty stomachs", a cunning tone in his words
She appraises Soldin top to bottom and nods. ‘You speak the wise words of a warrior. Let us fuel our bodies to fuel the fires for a good bloodletting.’ She bows her head and looks at the table quietly for a moment….a very long moment.
Veeshal grumbles but sits back down, both hands to the side where his plate would sit.
"If there are people in need of protection, I know my skills can come to use. I'm learning to control them better, but I have gotten better over the years. I would be happy to look for these raiders and teach them that stealing is not a good path to take. Though a good meal first is wise."
The Aiel slowly raises her head. ‘Please forgive me if my visage offends or sickens you, but I must lower my veil to eat. If after it is down you feel like you cannot eat, then I will break my fast in my room.’ She inhales deeply and holds it, then slowly brings the veil down around her neck, pushing the hood off her head as well…
My profile pic is her basic look-couldn’t get one with the little extras that I added to make her unique. There are markings/scars on her face, as well as her horns. Has a wide red scar running from the base of each horn down across the eyes and to the edge of each nostril, plus a 2” diameter silvered dot in the center of her forehead. Each horn has two 6” long by 1” wide gouges filled with silver. Has a filigree earring in each ear threaded from top lobe to bottom. Has small lip and nose ring.
"Shall we make our leave then to the south to pursue these raiders? It would be good to do something nice for these two villages." Arashi pays his bill (how much?) and gets up to start heading towards the door to make his leave. He turns his head to his new 'compatriots?' * "So who else is with us?"
You all finish your breakfast and decide to head to the south. As you go to settle your bill the bar tender will tell you "no need to pay me for your meals as that has already been taken care of as well. If you are looking for horses there are a few on the north side of town. The stable master there is named Seth. I am sure he can come to a fair price for you. Just a fair warning that horses are rare because they tend to not return when purchased I believe the last time Seth sold one it was 300 gp for just a riding horse. I wish you good fortune on your quest to the south. Having that avenue open again would be grand for us up here. I have heard rumors that the bandits are little orange creatures that some say are goblins but we all know that is horse cocky as everyone knows they are just monsters to scare the kids."
Once you step out into the open air you can see a few people walking from one place to another as they purchase food stuff and receive repaired items from the blacksmith. I will need a perception or insight check from all of you.
Do you go to the left and head towards the horse stalls or do you head to the right seeking fame by going south?
*Rolls a 12 insight* "That is a pretty steep price on horses. I guess we'll just walk. Good exercise didn't hurt anyone, right?" *Arashi heads south towards the road out of town.*
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
'Indeed that is a steep price for a horse-but maybe not for such a small location. Perhaps a walk would do us all some good-get us limbered up for whatever may come our way.' The Aiel has once again donned her balaclava and is looking around as if assessing the townies.

‘Playing me-us-for fools would not be-healthy-for such a person.’ the Aiel growls

"It seems to be. How many now of us seem to be in a state of confused relocation? 4 or 5 of us now? This is definitely not a mere coincidence."

‘Food n drink first-then maybe I-or we-can see to this caravan problem. Please.’ The Aiel is fixated on fueling up.

All of you sit at the table and enjoy a nice filling breakfast. Now that you filled your bellies what are you going to do?

Millwater slows down eating, finally popping one last piece of bacon into his mouth. "That was the greatest breakfast I had in awhile"
He looks to Arishi "I would like to go with you friend, I can cook and make water drinkable. If needed I can hold my own in a fight!"

‘My axe is thirsty…. Perhaps this will be just the thing. Are there horses to buy/borrow around here?’
Veeshal looks around the table and sighs ‘Count me in as well.’
