Grey takes the recall amulet and studies it a bit, wondering if he could duplicate it with his smithing tools, at least its physical appearance, then tucks it in his armor, out of sight.
“If the pile of rocks in the middle do lead below, I’d say we check to towers out before we descend, so we don’t leave anything unknown behind us” Grey says.
Razzec eyes the sinkhole while trying to see if he can make out anything in the dark (with his darkvision 120). "I agree, whatever waits us down there, I'd like to know that we don't have something following us down"

After the fall, more rocks closed the hole. You surmise that falling in would have hurt a bit.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Ember hovers a moment staring down at the sinkhole and rocks... and gulps. Taking an outward spiralling flight path, he will keep his distance from that near disaster before settling to ground next to Razzek. "Perhaps I shall spend some time NOT poking at things?"
Anton clambers over the broken wall with the others and inspects the sinkhole warily. “Where is the keep? Or all of the buildings? Is this rubble all that remains?” He looks over at Razzec and nods “Good idea, clear the towers first.” Anton strides over to one of the taller towers and, after a brief inspection of the door, lowers his shoulder and crashes into the door, trying to break it open. Athletics: 19.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Anton scrambles to his feet and shrugs his shoulders, working out the pain as he looks around to see what was behind the dislodged door. Perception: 16.
The inside of the tower is circular with a wrought iron staircase winding up and down. Looking up you see that the stairway is choked with stones and rotting timbers. The ceiling is also wood but looks to be in poor condition.
The stairway down is lost to darkness.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Nico came to stand beside Anton and looked into the darkness with him.
"Well, since I don't guess anyone's gonna suggest splitting the party, looks like it's down first?"
The bard smiled at his own humor, even as he gripped the handle of his sheathed blade. Muttering a melodic incantation as he did, his left glove began to glow softly. "I can lead the way if ya like," he offered as he began slowly descending the stairs.
After hearing the thud of Anton and the door, Razzec walks over to the tower and peering in, hears Nico's suggestion. Also noticing the darkness, he speaks up and says, "Should we check the other towers first before heading down or do you think they're all the same?"
((Let me know if I should roll anything as well, pass perception is 15))
The stairway winds down about 30 feet to a dusty landing with a scattering of debris and the smell of rat droppings.
With the presumption of an alternate breaching method, nobody takes damage at the other towers. They are nearly identical, long abandoned, dusty and stale air.
Otho joins the group at the top of the stairwell curiously looking after the abrupt clatter of the door being slammed open, "Perhaps if there was immediate danger the door being bashed would've brought out some sort of welcome party. The deeper we go, the more difficult it'll be no?" Otho taps his staff as the tip glows a cool silver, "I can take up the rear with my light. I see fine in the dark, but you never know what to expect.." he casts light on his staff
Razzec follows Anton down the stairs and stops at the landing, looking into the dark the see where to go from here. "I guess before we get too much further in, we should see what everyone is good at. I like to get up close and personal with the enemies, locking them in place so everyone else can wale on them without worry. What about the rest of you?"
((trying to figure out what our group orderr should be so we're not totally unprepared for our first combat.))
Ember looks about at everyone. "As a druid, I am neither a front line stalwart nor a rough and tumble fighter. Perhaps I should stay mid party so I can assist in either direction? However, as you saw earlier, I can fly a short distance which might make me a sneak and peek scout at times."
“I am a cleric of the forge, but I like to wade into the thick of a fight generally. I’m skilled at pushing my targets away from me and encasing them with lightning, causing them more damage when they move” Grey says.
“I’m not against hanging back in a support role if necessary. I’m not the best healer and prefer not to heal in combat, unless its critical.”
He will cast Moradin’s Light on his hammer so we have a second light source, and follow the ladder down.
"Ok, so Grey and myself in the lead, the rest as they want in the middle with Otho picking up the rear like he suggested. Sound good to everyone else?", Razzec asks as he looks around at everyone else for looks of approval or disapproval. "I'm definitely not the sneaking type so I won't be able to scout ahead but I can see pretty far in the dark so I should be able to see beyond what little light we have going. I hope that gives us the edge against anything that might come our way."
"Sounds great to me," piped up Nico. "I can go in behind the two big guys and back ya up. I may be a bard, but I'm also a pretty fine swordsman, if I say so meself.
Got enough healing magic to bring anyone back up if ya go down, and a bit of illusion magic to bedazzle any beasties down here." He held up his open hand, showcasing his still-glowing glove. "And enough to light the way if needed, o' course."
The bottom of the north east tower the bottom is again, dusty and dry. There is door banded with rusted iron beneath the stairs. It appears to be the only exit.

The tower doors are old and the iron bands on them are rusty. There is a keyhole in the center of each door.

Anton slams into the door with a mighty *crash*! he takes 2 points of damage and falls to the ground lying atop the dislodged door.
