The stone walls of this corridor are carved to resemble a stack of bamboo-like logs. The passage slopes down from your door 20 feet forward then turns to the left. It leads to double doors of beaten bronze, worked to resemble a forest of seaweed.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Vodin cautiously moves forward says "These carvings are so detailed that I can imagine myself standing in some bamboo forest." He keeps an eye out for danger and will see if the broze door can be opened.
As Vodin makes his way down the hallway, Glink and Nibbles notice something wrong with the floor right in front of him. There is a ten by ten section that has a white outline around it.

Glink will point out the apparent trap to everyone who has followed. “It’s only ten feet,” hecomments, and turning to Nib he adds, “Want to jump it?”
The doors are heavy but open easily, they are probably solid metal. Beyond the doors you see an octagonal room about 50 feet across. To the left and right you see alcoves with doors, straight ahead it looks like the passage leads down a short distance. The air smells wet and moldy, the floor appears to be covered in mud.
In the center of the room on a pedestal is a round rock. And from behind it is a giant crayfish, gesticulating with it pinchers. It seems to be talking.
Anybody with History Proficiency can roll and see if they understand it.

Glink cautiously steps forward and surveys the octagonal room, taking note of the alcoves and the passage ahead. (Perception 18)
Prism flutters slightly, uneasy on Glink’s shoulder, their glass feathers reflecting the dim light. Glink’s eyes are drawn to the pedestal in the center of the room, and the round rock resting atop it. But it’s the giant crayfish that holds his attention, its large pinchers moving animatedly as if it were speaking.
Glink squints, trying to make sense of the creature’s gestures. “Is it… talking?” he murmurs to himself. (History 9)

Vodin dust himself and then then wields his bow ready for whatever may be beyond the door. "Ready"

Vodin stops and says "Thanks for the warning. I am willing to try to jump the trap"
Vodin will back up and take a running start before jumping and he barely clears the 10ft. as he only has 10 strength.
Vodin just clears the marked area.
