Elias moves away from the chest to let Rosaline have a look at the locks. I think I've got a spell that helps us manage hauling our spoils out of here. He begins cast floating disk a ritual. Soon a three foot round disk appears floating in the air next to him. This should hold the chest, armor and just about anything else you all wanted to haul out of here.
"You're as clever and resourceful as ever, Elias!" Khessa approves, loading the weapons and armor that belonged to the deceased skeletons and Cultists onto the Disk. "Being able to transport these things from the nearest weapons shop will certainly be beneficial to our finances - and therefore, indirectly, to my studies as well!"
REYA will look at KHESSAand say quietly yet matter-of-factly, “I do not kid. And though your intentions may be noble, I do not trust the Flaming Fist. Go as you must to your Captain.”
REYA addresses the Flaming Fist on hand, “Do any of you know of this Low Lantern?”
(Rosaline will know of it and give Reya its location.)
After Rosaline communicates the location, REYA says, “I will go ahead and scout out this Low Lantern. If you do not show up within a quarter of a day, I will assume you have been detained. I will then continue my quest to find Thavius Kreeg.”
Meanwhile as the rats are scurried away, you will find in the room behind the curtain that six of the crates are empty except for packing straw. The other three contain various goods, including ten days’ worth of rations that were not eaten by the rats, a bag of twenty caltrops, three flasks of alchemist’s fire, six sets of manacles, four tinderboxes, nine daggers, and four potions of healing in glass vials. In the other room, the crate was filled with unused torches.
REYAwill ponder the four padlocked boxes for a moment, "Was there not a set of keys?"
The blonde arcane warrior, unless someone else needs them more than she does, takes the bag of twenty caltrops and a set of manacles. She also advises those who have not many ranged attack means to take the flasks of alchemist’s fire! Finally, she suggests that Elias, Mistynip, Rosebud and Rosaline take a potions of healing each, to be used in case of emergency.
Then, at Reya’s final words, Khessa facepalms: “Oh, yes, silly me…” then she takes out the chain with a bunch of keys found in the torture chamber and begins to try the keys one after the other, in the hope of finding the ones that open the padlocks.
Rosebudhappily accepts the potion of healing but declines the flasks of alchemist fire, mumbling something about a bad fire on a hot summer's night that may have burned down a house that she may have been staying at without permission. She looks excitedly at the floating disk - "Hey, do you think that would carry me? No, I don't think that would be a good idea. I would look like a princess on a flying carpet and that would just be silly." With the real adventurers (as she considers them) busy dealing with the chests and crates, she turns to keep an eye out for anything sneaking up on them.
KHESSA determines that the largest key on the chain, an iron one, fits the padlocks. All of them.
Chest 1, by far the heaviest holds 60 copper ingots stamped with 100 on them. and two red crystal vials with gold stoppers wrapped in cloth.
Chest 2 contains twelve eye agates (10 gp each) scattered amid 1,200 silver pieces of various yet foreign minting.
Chest 3 contains a delicate porcelain dragon mask resting on a bed of 600 gold pieces, also of foreign minting.
Chest 4 contains a bronze crown with five spires. Each spire is shaped and lustrously painted to resemble one of the five kinds of chromatic dragons (black, blue, green, red, and white).
Everything has a greasy feel to it. Yet the greasiness does not seem to wear off.
Khessa loads the loot onto the Disk providentially created by the young wizard and asks him: "Are you able to determine if some of these items are magical?"
If the two red crystal vials with gold stoppers wrapped in cloth are magical, the blonde arcane warrior assumes that they are potions and tries to identify their powers by tasting a sip...
Elias eyes the contents of the chests, oh my. he barely comprehends it when Khessa speaks, uh, yes, uh yes, detect magic. Give me few minutes. Elias will cast detect magic a ritual.
Mistynip gladly accepts the potion of healing. Rosebud, I wouldn't mind having the flasks of alchemist fire if you do not want them and it's ok with everyone else.
As KHESSAsuspects and as ELIAS confirms, the contents of the red crystal vials with gold stoppers are magic. Each vial contains a potion of fire breath. Nothing else radiates magic other than the Potions of Healing.
Khessa reverently asks to keep one of the potion of fire breath, considering how much they can help her in combat... [[ OOC: She would gain the ability to do damage with the Bonus Action of fire breath, in addition to her weapon attacks! ]] and for the same reasons she recommends entrusting the other to another melee fighter [[ OOC: Maybe Reya? Rosaline would be also good, but she already uses her Bonus Action to fight with two weapons... ]]
After that, the blonde arcane warrior suggests exploring the room of statues... and destroying the statues of the Dead Three, of course, before leaving!
Elias looks towards the blonde battle mage, a spell throwing, axe swinging fire breathing cabbage farmer? I like it. Maybe the other can go to Rose, I'd pay good coin to see a fire breathing dire wolf., Just not out in the wild. he shivers at the thought.
"Burn the statues, burn the statues, so many ways to burn the statues," sings Rosebudoff tune. "But I suppose we must look at them first. Still, lots of fun! And soon, we can return above ground. I need to check my ass. His name is Burro. It's been with me for almost five years now. I hope Alan the tavern keeper is still taking good care of her. And maybe the bushes are finally flowering like they are supposed to now that all these bad guys are dead." Rosebud is worried about the well-being of her donkey since it has been a steady companion of hers and accepts Burro's pronoun preferences without concern but with significant confusion, as is the case with so many things in her life. Why the flowers aren't blooming are one such source of confusion to her and, frankly speaking, something much more important to her. After all, flowers are rather beautiful and rare in Baldur's Gate so having them around would make being a druid in the city much more bearable.
MISTYNIP looks at the statues. The center statue resembles a heavily armored man whose face is hidden behind the fearsome visor of his helmet. He’s painted red except for his right gauntlet, which is black. Clutched in this gauntlet is a blood-red spear, pointed upward. The statue to the north depicts a purple-garbed male noble wearing a harlequin mask and holding a dagger behind his back. The statue to the south portrays a black-robed skeleton with its jaw opened wide and its bony hands outstretched. The statues appear to be made from wood.
On other matters, REYA would gladly accept a Potion of Firebreath, but would yield it to ROSEBUD and her ass Burro should she desire it.
If there is nothing of particular value in the room to examine first, Khessa decides to burn the Dead Three's idols... they have already been worshipped one too many times, as far as she is concerned.
Since the statues are made of wood, the blonde arcane warrior pelts them from a distance with one mote of fire after another, until they burn and are reduced to ashes.
“Reya, you would use the fire breath potion much better than I would. I could see me having a stiff drink at the tavern and burping fire for a week if I had that. Is it time to go above ground and anyone remember how to get there?”
Elias watches as the statues catch fire and burn. well, I guess that's that then. Did we check the rooms where those last cultist popped out of? If so then I guess we're good to go.

Elias winks at the blonde warrior mage, and hopefully save some of your strength in not having to haul those chest out, depending what's in them.

I would really like to take a look at those statues as well.

KHESSA burns the statues. The harlequin mask on the north statue shatters from the heat revealing a ghastly skull-like visage underneath.
(What does the party do next?)
