Thia might like busting on Karas, but she is not going to hinder a worthwhile venture or mess up a fight. She was thinking of assisting with stealth, but sees Karas isn't the one that needs assisting. Of course, she did not expect him to need it. She looks at those still next to her and whispers, "Anyone want a blessing that gives you stealthing advantage to flank the other way or shall we let Karas get in place and the rest move together? I can cast sacred flame on one of the zombies before you run in."

Karas before you move out let me check if that is the true number of undead near the cave entrance.
Thai do you have any knowledge on what types of damage works best against skeletons and zombies.
((DuHast uses Divine Sense looking at the cave entrance and surrounding area within 60 feet and informs the team of his findings.))
DuHast says, "Maybe we can attack from a distance and draw them out away from the cave entrance. It's possible the light of day may have a negative effect on the undead."
Potential Strategy:
Group attacks using ranged weapons or ranged magics first and hopefully takes a few down
While we attack Karas can stealth. Hopefully our attack provides a good distraction
Kalkano you can assist me with melee and try and draw them towards me
Duhast will stay in front and throw javelins from the trees closest to the cave until they get in melee
Then try to use the trees as a defense point to limit attacks (AC 18 using shield)
I will either use Battleaxe and Shield or Staff and Shield depending on Thai's info (default Axe)
Thia says, "Fire is good on zombies, but I think you want to break bones of skeletons. That is why I will put sacred flame on a zombie at the start and can do that from quite a ways."
((Note: staff is two handed so you can't use your shield with it.))

Kalkano nods towards Thia and DuHast. "I'll wait for your signal". Kalkano draws his shortsword and in the other hand, pulls out a small metal shard (same stats as a dart just flavor design) and starts to move along the tree line trying to stay hidden.
(I'm going to stealth over to flank them once Thia or DuHast give the signal/attack. [stealth roll = 24 (19+5)] Also, staves are versatile and can be wielded 1 or 2 handed)
(Not getting any closer than I have to. I need to have LoS and be within 60' for Sacred Flame. Waiting on everyone else since Karas already rolled a really good stealth and started moving. DuHast is waiting on the others to respond. So I'm waiting until they are ready and will do the stealth roll if you think I need it to get close enough, IE within 60 feet, but the further the better as far as Thia is concerned.))

DuHast attempts to move stealthfully to get within throwing distance with a javelin (30 feet or less). If I am discovered I have heavy armor and shield and hope that that will be enough to keep the dead from damaging me.
((Rollz appears to down and message states its moving to a new server. Honor roll Stealth disadvantage due to armor 12 & 17. End result 12 which I rolled first.))
If I am able to get close enough, chucking javelin as first attack at nearest zombie.
If I end up in melee I drop the javelin and use shield with staff (1 handed).
(Kalkano rolled stealth earlier, with a 24 and is trying to move within 35 feet but in a different direction than DuHast. As Questor said, rolz.org is down for the moment, but went ahead and rolled initiative, for whenever combat starts, on honor system: 13 (10+3).)
(In advance, if the zombies try anything funny, Karas will leap up, put his blades out, and charge at it and gore it. Got attack roll (dice) 14 and damage rolls 9 and 10.
The party creeps up upon the skeletons and zombies, apparently largely oblivious in their mindless stumbling. Everyone roll initiative and we'll take a surprise round.
(Good Idea have some inspiration for Du'Hast as well! People are welcome to post their attacks during their initiative roll since this first round is pretty obvious)
Thia stops when she knows she can cast sacred flame easily and still have people between here and the four undead. She puts the spell on the zombie furthest from her of the two.
Karas sneaks up and plunges his two blades into a zombie, spilling ooze and viscera around the foul creature. (Also, you should be rolling for each attack, and I believe your damage calculations are off. You shouldn't be able to do 9 and then 10 damage with your current stats). Kalkano runs up, catching it off guard and also plunges his short sword into it before it has a chance to recover. (Damage?)

Thai, Thanks for the info (fire on zombies & blunt weapons on skeletons).
Anyone else with info or tweaks to the plan?
((Ah, see I'm stuck in older habits. ROFL and you keep spelling Thia wrong. ;) Okay butting out of adding OOC posts so we can get on with the fun))

To speed things up here is my attack action:
Throws javelin at zombie: javelin attack [ d20+4 = 19 ] damage [ d6+2 = 3 ]

(Before combat starts, Kalkano will pocket his dart because at that point I assume I'm within distance to get in there and melee. Initiative was 13)
(Once combat starts) Kalkano rushes in and attacks one of the skeletons closest to him with his shortsword [ATK: 9 (4+5)].
I already described my combat actions in case you need it.
