I finally feel like all my prepping has been worth it. In the campaign I am running, all the threads I have woven are finally taking affect to where that party is feeling strained as to what to do because they no if both of them don't do anything then there will be major consequences.
Whenever my players figure out my scheming. I run major intrigue, and I love it when my players make connections or some facet of my… err, I mean mean the Cult of Solarus’s… plot comes to light.
More specifically last session, when I managed the cheerful and difficult beats well.
When at the end of many sessions my antagonist-disguised-as-guide got to point to the last remaining golden apple of immortality and deliver her dying words, "Kallisti, mother****ers."
I had a pretty good moment, that led to one of my best sessions so far, where a PC that was in love with the Feywild made a deal to pull a card from the Deck of Many in order to be plane shifted there.
That moment, with the subsequent (completely improv) trip to the Feywild, was simply great.
My favorites have been when my players shouted their surprise and joy at plot twists I've been scheming about for literal years.
Also, as a person who hates and sucks at puzzles: when one of my players loved a puzzle so much that they put it into their own campaign. Peak DM moment, for me.
It is satisfying to have them find the treasure I have hidden around the dungeon after overcoming the obstacles I set up, because they are skilled dungeoneers who understand tactics, strategy, teamwork, and utilize good resource management.

What are some of your satisfied DM moments
A New DM up against the World

Only spilt the party if you see something shiny.
Ariendela Sneakerson, Half-elf Rogue (8); Harmony Wolfsbane, Tiefling Bard (10); Agnomally, Gnomish Sorcerer (3); Breeze, Tabaxi Monk (8); Grace, Dragonborn Barbarian (7); DM, Homebrew- The Sequestered Lands/Underwater Explorers; Candlekeep
Definitely those moments when your players go "oooh!" because the connections between seemingly unrelated events or clues come together :)
When at the end of many sessions my antagonist-disguised-as-guide got to point to the last remaining golden apple of immortality and deliver her dying words, "Kallisti, mother****ers."
When my newbie players come up with a crafty way to exploit the problems I throw at them and turn it into a weapon or force to be reckoned with.
