Just throwing a question out there. I know the book's only just released. I mainly skimmed it for a fun tier 2 one-shot; once I found that, I went back to figure out the essentials of how the Concord Gems functioned (my opening scene is going to be on one, as the citadel recedes into the distance).
And I couldn't sort out if the book provided any guidance for how you'd request a ride on one. It's a minor thing. Book mentions they can orbit until needed; there's a guild that essentially operates them. But... no mention of fees or something like a train station to book (or simply request) passage--that I could find, in a quick scan.
I'm not wild about the gems in general. Not fantasy enough for me; too gondola-like. But it does create some great imagery, these glistening, orbiting gems around this bit of the ethereal void!
I guess I'm wondering everyone's thoughts about the gems, how you plan to run them, etc. Fun book!
