I didn't do a damage/round calculation for the CR but on the surface, a couple things that are needed to be anywhere close to cr 7: rework the Life Drain to make it stronger and a recharge ability, probably recharge on 5 or 6. Make it deal damage, maybe something like 2d6 or half on a con save or something, and heal for the amount of damage dealt. If it doesn't do damage, with it taking up a full action all it does is prolong the fight a little while actually making the monster less dangerous cause it's not attacking that turn at all.
You need multiattack. Right now as written he can do one attack per turn, you need a multiattack in there so you can do a higher average damage per round.
Most mid to high level demons have Magic Resistance and especially if this is meant to be fought alone you really need it.
Now, if this is the monster you want to go with and are just looking for advice on how to rank it, ballpark it's probably more like a CR 5 (but again, haven't done the actual calculation on it).

Damage is really low, did you intend for it to have multiattack? Accuracy is pretty low for its CR as well.
"Corruptive Armor" and "Creature of Cold" don't need to be traits.
"Unenchanting Rage" and "Dark Sludge" should probably be traits, not reactions.
Is it better now? Sorry, CR is very confusing to me, now matter how many times I look it up I still end up confused.

How do I put magic resistance, as a trait or just resistance to a damage type?
