So imagine your PC's are sneaking around in a museum or < insert other location> which has guards on a patrol. Since this is way more heist and sneaky-sneaky stealth focussed i want to pay more attention to the stealth side of the game. How would you guys handle circumventing patrolling guards?
I mean: t would seem daft to just blindly follow a combat tracker as then my PC's will most likely not have the time to react to a guard's patrol route.
I was kinda thinking of working with the combat tracker as usual but letting them do a move action and have 1 "react move" action if a guard moves their way. Combined with a stealth role.
Guards are set to look for trouble — perception, insight, investigation. They may have initiative or surprise as well.
nothing worse than alert guards doing their actual jobs.

Yea but i'm more about "the flow" of trying to circumvent or create situations where they sneak in the same room as the guards and try to hide behind obstacles.
I was maybe thinking of having the guards make a tour based on some dice i roll to make the entire interaction more random and dynamic.

Any other suggestions?
