So, assuming you are asking about a digital library, since you are using DnD Beyond for this, the answer is yes, but probably not to the scale you want. Any digital books you own can be shared with any person in a campaign you are in if you have the correct subscription level and have content sharing turned on. This is, of course true for any player with content sharing turned on as well. So you and players can share content with others in the same campaign, but since campaigns can only have 12 members, you'll likely have a patchwork library if you happen to have 50 players as I'm pretty sure you can also only share with three campaigns at a time and not all of your players will be in the same campaigns, let along in each other's campaign groups, making sharing hard across such a large group.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
I want others to bring their books and add it to my library.
Can they do that?
Can others use other players books?
after they add them to my library, do I have to worry if they leave?
How does this work if I have 50 players playing in several campaigns?
Sort of ...
IF you have a master tier subscription, you can create a campaign and turn on content sharing for the campaign. Any content owned by the DM or any of the players in the campaign is shared with both the DM and the other players in the campaign. This affects the character builder for characters IN the campaign and compendium access for the players or the DM at any time.
Everyone continues to own their own content. It can only be shared between players and DMs sharing a campaign. If a content owner leaves a campaign their content will no longer be available to others in the campaign. There is no centralized "library" .. content is shared by the folks sharing the campaign. If an owner leaves, access to their owned content is lost.
Characters will NOT lose access to the features and traits that were added to the character based on the missing content but they will not be able to add more. Characters created in the campaign and then exported retain access to the content that was used to create the character but again will not be able to add any content from those sources beyond what is already included in the character sheet.
The number of players allowed in a campaign is limited. The DM is limited to 5 campaigns and the number of players in each is limited to 12. Content sharing is on a campaign by campaign basis so only content owned by the DM and players in a campaign will be shared. If a player/DM isn't in a game then their owned content is not available.
What about modules and adventures I purchase, can I upload those to roll20? or do I need a roll20 version?
When you go through the check out there's a tick box option for "Buy for Myself" or "Buy as a Gift", if you tick the gift option it gives you an unlock code rather than just giving you access so yes your players can buy you books.
As for Roll20 you'll need to buy everything on there separately as the two sites don't feed through. If you're looking to save money and only buy once D&D Beyond has it's own VTT (called Maps) that's currently being rolled out and added to that you can access with the same Master Tier membership you'd need to share books. There's also a free VTT called AboveVTT that does pull things, including both maps and character sheets, from D&D Beyond and currently has several features Maps doesn't

Can I use dnd beyond to build a library that I can share.
Can players bring their own books to add to my library.
Can everyone use these books?
This is all stuff you'd want to bring to your DM and discuss. That will give you setting appropriate answers and goals.
I am the DM... I want to build a library.
I want others to bring their books and add it to my library.

Thank you.
That is a lot of great info.
Can a player give or gift me a book they own?
