Started a new campaign a few months ago and the players (started at lvl 1) have all accumulated just enough wealth to go shopping. They're in a major city and I have already established that while magic can be rare out in the hinterlands, there are actual magic shops in the big cities. The most common items sought after Cloaks of Protection and weapons. Nobody can afford a weapon yet but two cloaks have been purchased.
I didn't like the price list from the DMG so I made my own. I wanted feedback on how fair this sounded and advice on prices for things that don't have hard numbers on them like Potions of Invisibility etc.
Cloak of Protection +1 (+1 to Saves and AC): 500 GP
Bracers (+1 Save OR +1 AC): 300 GP
Armor is 100 GP x the base AC of the armor so Studded Leather +1 is 1200 GP
Weapons are 100 GP x the max damage of the weapon so a 1d6 magic +1 weapon = 600 GP
Take a look at this excellent PDF that some like-minded individual has created for sane prices for magical items. I like it and even though I don't sell magic items (aside from a few potions) in my campaign, it's nice to have a figure to work from.
As for your prices, I can't really say because I don't have a good grasp of how freely money is given out in your campaign.

It would be fun to do some shop keeper (like the on efrom Aladdin) that sells them some random magic item that might be more viable Roleplay wise. Such as an alchemy jug. Drowning your enemies in mayonnaise makes for an excellent campfire story. While all the other magic store owners are proper and serious you just have his crazy looking hobo dude trying to sell the players an automatic mayonnaise jar (it has other uses too) the dude could be selling it for much cheaper... maybe 50gp.
Oh heck yeah, a magic item being sold for far below "market" value by a sketchy individual who needs to sell it RIGHT NOW... that's prime story bait right there!

the armor seems a little too much. If it was enchanted mythril that would be a good price, but for studded leather, that's a bit too high of a price
