for the neutral sorcerer maybe a contract that will give him access to asmodeus's personal library but will trap him there until he has read EVERYTHING (for reference make the library like a museum-sized room with over 30 bookshelves filled to the brim with spellbooks, fiction books, fanfics made by asmodeus and such?) in exchange the contract gives the sorcerer more power then before or something?
Vengeful barbarian: a weapon that will slowly sap away his intellect and wisdom until he is unable to remember why he is after orcus, and in exchange it has an ability to lead him to orcus and has some sort of powerup to STR and con?
for the Tiefling a list of possible things Asmodeus had planned for the near future? the downside is only 1 in 10 asmodeus actually decided to do?
or have them put into a labyrinth under Asmodeus control? provides a distraction while you work on your plan
Something that can create some tension and possibility for future story elements is have Asmodeus offer each a deal or what they most desire for a price. Have him offer the sorcerer new power and abilities but he must be in his eternal servitude. The barbarian is offered a dagger that can lead him to Orcus but it must be powered by the blood of the innocent and for every person that is used to power the dagger another soul is added to it. Over time this will slowly lower the barbarians stats until the dagger is anointed by a priest and the demon inside banished. The tiefling can be released immediately if he signs a blood oath to never interfere with his plans. If signed then a brand is burned into his hand in the shape of Asmodeus symbol. If the oath is broken then the brand starts to burn and immolate the arm it was branded to, the only way to save the tieflings life is to either cut off the arm as it burns or have an exorcist or sorcerer magically nullify the oath by removing the brand through a complicated ritual and by directly fighting a high leveled fiend assigned to uphold the bargain. I hope these ideas help and i wish you luck.
Take a page from Greek Mythology...Asmodeus can be Hades and create his wife and daughter as NPCs. Azzy is a demonlord but you don't need to have him be hand-wringing evil, have him greet the players warmly. Serve the players a banquet, let them wander his castle interacting with monstrous demons and creatures who are surprisingly gentle and helpful. If the players try to fight him he only retaliates and tries to tell them the stories of his evil are true but for a very noble cause. When the players try to leave have his wife or daughter beg to go with them, when the players are like ya sure come on...rage mode. Azzy breaks his cool and goes mental, he could curse all the players as such:
To the Tiefling: The exact time and location of his next attack always pops up in his head the morning of an attack no matter the distance from them.
To the Barbarian: a cursed blade that once it has tasted a "brand" of blood it seeks to satisfy its thirst by killing all creatures of that type in a 200 yard radius (so if he kills an elf..bye-bye all elves) and the barbarian has to sacrifice his own health to sheath the sword.
To the sorceror: a power boost to all his spells but everyone around him sees him as a servant of Asmodeus unless they make a Perception check.
This furthers all their goals but in a jerk way.
