Well the title says it all.. but would love to hear anyone else's experiences with this particular chapter. Just read over it briefly and it feels pretty straight forward as well as shorter than I imagined. Anyone have any sage wisdom to share?
It seemed a bit quick for me. Consider not having the conch be there, but be somewhere else, perhaps stolen by another set of giants or some other faction (if you have one set up).
Of course, this would extend your campaign, so depending on how in a rush you are to continue, make the determination as to where the conch is. The "big bad" in that area I didn't find too compelling, so consider adding some others as well, and perhaps some of the hill giants resent their current leader.....
The fire giant and cloud giants ones, are both longer and more difficult imo.

"An' things ha' come to a pretty pass, ye ken, if people are going to leave stuff like that aroound where innocent people could accidentally smash the door doon and lever the bars aside and take the big chain off'f the cupboard and pick the lock and drink it!"
thanks!!! Im going to have the Roc attack their airship immediately and put everything in there on alert but ya I feel like my party is already pretty OP ... might have to drop in some more dudes.
I'm sorry, I totally misread the header and read "hill giants" and not stone giants.
Dreadstone cleft, while still quick is a bit more difficult. You can definitely add terrain effects there, or consider changing the boss to the Dodkong:
