Being able to weild a 2 handed weapon in one hand.
+1 to strength to a max of 20
Prerequisite 18 str and min level 8
The other idea is giving disadvantage to this but that may be too much of a deterrent as trying to use a 2 handed with one hand in 5e may just give disadvantage by its self. You would also need the 2 weapon fighter feat to dual weild.
Role play wise your super beefy melee fighter / barb picks up this huge weapon that some need 2 hands to use with one and thinks it's light. And other swords are toothpicks
Just a thought to keep fighters up with spell casters
I mostly just want to point out that there's a whole subforum dedicated to homebrew so I don't think discussion about homebrew really needs a home outside of that.
I do also have a few thoughts on your feat. It's too good. It's basically a two (or more) AC bump for anyone that wields a two-handed weapon because now they can use a shield too. I think it's cool and thematic, but unbalanced. Characters that wield heavy weapons and have access to feats (GWM) are already some of the highest damage dealers in the game. I don't think they need to be even better.
