I have a group of mostly newbies (4, to be exact, and 2 veterans) that has expressed the desire to do a pretty goof-based campaign. Most of their characters are things like "Thog, the dwarven bard who can only play careless whisperer" and "Keith, the human accountant who just happens to be freaking ripped". I'm perfectly fine with this; I know the players well and none of them would do anything to actively hinder the flow of the game.
My question: what are some good plotlines for a team of numbskull adventurers? They're all probably going to be chaotic neutral, so I imagine money/glory would be the best motivation. These could be for either a one-shot or a longer campaign.
