Just ended our first campaign ever with a tpk. I think I felt worse then the players did about it but things happen! As my players are rolling up new characters and I'm working on the new campaign I'm also looking at making my own PC. My question is on the balance of a homebrew class that sounds very fun to play on like a warforged race, but still being newer to dnd I'm not sure if this is way over tuned or not. (I'm not creator just found this)
They dont really have any abilities outside of the orbs they get but the orb seem very useful. Looking at what they have I would probably lower the damage on the orb attack to a d4 as a self regulated start and see if that kept him doing okay damage compared to others at the same level. If it is over powered any recommendations to make it more balanced but still able to keep the whole feel to it? Get to be a player in a small 2 PC campaign soon and would like to start getting this worked out. Any advice or opinions are greatly appreciated!
