I made a big problem. I was planning to make the adventure a simple one shot, but I enjoyed it so much that I extended it. Now, the cave we exterminated goblins has become a caveat...
You see, at the end of the encounter, I had the entire cave transport the party to another place...
Then I said the cave was actually a blow horn of a Storm Giant, gifted to him by the gods with the ability to summon an ally to aid him at any time he required.
Then I said the horn was corrupted with other magics which made it that rather it brought allies to it, it transported them elsewhere... but still being able to summon heroes randomly to it. It was so I could explain how players/characters would turn up and leave without warning or reason.
But I want to make the situation canon... so I had it activate when blood was spilled in the cave and everyone inside got transported. And also revived as if they all had a long rest after...
Yes, this is getting quite confusing, I would imagine... Im new and this was my attempt to jump in the deep end and see if I can swim.
You don't need to justify anything about how it works, certainly not with the thing itself being a (corrupted) gift from the gods. It works because of magic beyond the grasp of mortal adventurers.

Just thought to ask for ideas...

I am one with the Force. The Force is with me.
Yes... but for it to activate the way they want, they need to learn how it activated in the first place... I hope Im conveying that clearly.
I need prerequisites that are both logical and obtainable...
