Hi, I just got the Cuthhu by Torchlight and I am looking for an DnD 5E (preferable 2024) adventure with Lovecraftian tone that I can use as baseline to test the new rules before I write my own campaign. Can you please recommend me one?
Did you find one? Were you looking for a short one-shot to test things out? Or a longer adventure? Or a whole multi-tier campaign adventure?
I think that you could probably make The Lost City work. As is, it would take quite some time before the party gets close to the eldritch evil, but you could rework it. Move the ziggurat to a location that's isolated but accessible, like an island or the top of a mountain. The Cynidiceans aren't trapped by the surrounding desert, but maybe some "impossible geometry" prevents them from escaping the ziggurat. The mask-wearing Cynidiceans may not be the strange result of the generations of isolation. Instead, they're people who were drawn to the ziggurat and then driven mad by the eldritch influences there. Replace some of the beasts or monstrosities the upper levels with aberrations, like the Gazer, Darkmantle, Choker, or Grick. Or, with that adventure, maybe lean less into alien aberrations and more into oozes.
Really, you could look at any anthology adventure that involves an aberration. For example, in Keys from the Golden Vault, look at The Murkmire Malevolence or Reach for the Stars. Again, as written, the tone of those adventures are probably more light-hearted heists, but you should be able to inject your own Lovecraftian tone with some small changes and really emphasizing the eldritch horror elements in your descriptions.

Some of the Where Evil Lives chapters should also work. Both Ruins of Wrathrock and The White Tower involve aberrations.

Hi, and thank you for your response. I am looking for a campaign or one shots/ adventure that you could string together into a campaign.
I will take your suggestion and check The Lost City and Wherever Evil Lives. 😊
Thanks once again!
