There are multiple but all have significant learning curves and making a good map is actually a substantial amount of work. Rather than using a map maker, I generally do an image search for "rpg battle map" plus a few more keywords to more precisely describe what I want and generally get something usable.
Making maps takes quite a bit of investment to get set up. Occasionally i'll use Dungeondraft or Inkarnate to make something simple, but most times I'm just tapping into the millions of free maps on the internet.
Inkarnate has a free option and is what I use. It's got a tremendously supportive community on Discord and more than that it has the ability to explore the maps created by loads of creators. So it gives you the option of either making your own or downloading and using other people's maps. You can even clone maps to edit them yourself and put your own twist on them.
Better than that, it costs just $25 per year. I have got so much value from that.
This is gonna be my first time dming and i don't have a lot of money so does anyone know any good map makers i can use for free?

I would second Panta's suggestion.

www.dysonlogos.com is a great resource.
Do you want to make encounter maps or city/region maps?
Incarnate has a free option and it does amazing region/city maps, and their encounter maps are getting better all the time.
