I plan to run a campaign soon, that may involve a lot of exploration throughout a large world of kingdoms, towns, dungeons, and so on. I know of Inkarnate but its assets are too restricting without paid membership. Like the title says, are there any other free websites like Inkarnate that allow for simple map-making? If possible, it would be great to also include other sites as well that can create the maps of towns and cities for my PCs to navigate around.
Thanks for all the help! ( •ᴗ•)⸝

Hey!! I've played DND for maybe two to three years or so, so I'm still pretty new and only know the basics and such. I love SIlvery Barbs, and I'm always up to chat if you want :)
You must use inkarnate, even the non subscription is incredible

Why do ships ship cargo and cars carry shipments? Why do we have fingertips but not toetips and can tiptoe but can't tipfinger. These are all the questions of the universe.
I personally use Worldographer, which is an extensive app you can download to your pc. It's got a lot of options and freedom, and random map generation as well. There is a paid service you can opt into, but I've used and continue to use the free version and it's great!
