So I running a campaign with some friends and they got the item "Bag of Beans", they have a druid in the party and I was wondering what would happen if the druid uses druidcraft on the seeds, would they activate as if they are used how they are suppoused to?
I could just say that nothing happens and wait for them to figure out how to use it, but I want to read other peoples opinions
If you dump all the beans in the bag on the ground at once, they explode.
If you plant and water the bean, a minute later, it does ... something random (there's a chart).
My answer to the original question would be 'no', since the item describes exactly how their abilities are triggered, plus these are beans, not seeds, so making a seed pod open doesn't really apply. I would probably be generous and, if someone cast Druidcraft on a bean that had already been planted, let it sprout immediately as a result of the spell. Pure opinion, though.
Figuring out how the bag works is easy; someone just needs to focus on it during a short rest and Voila!

Would you care to describe what this item does?
