Pseudodragon for hatching definitely. Has the poison tail and everything
They're actually a breed of wyvern in my homebrew setting.

My players are most likely going to try and tame a wyvern from an egg and i need stats for a baby and young wyvern any suggestions for the stats?
One option would be to take a Young Green Dragon and a Green Dragon Wyrmling and compare the stats to create a deaging template.
For example,
Large ---> Medium
STR -4
Dex +0
Con -4
Int -2
Wis -2
Cha -2
Bite Damage [+7] 2d10+4 ----> [+4] 1d10+2
So a young wyvern could have the following stats:
For a Wyvern Hatchling... (It should probably only spend a few weeks at this age)
I would aim for drakes as your starting space.
Hatchling Wyvern - Ambush Drake
Young - Guard Drake
Young Adult - Reduced-Threat Wyvern
Adult - Wyvern
see my griffon tamer comment in your other thread...just adjust the concept for wyverns.
