I dislike that each round a character has a chance of a critical fail of 5%(1 in 20) or 9.75%(1 on either 20) if 2 attacks/round. Considering adventurers are supposed to be the best of the best that seems pretty high. However, if I was going to implement it, I really do like the reaction/opportunity attack on a natural one. I may even ask my group if they want to implement it.
