If you are the creator of the hombrew race, you can add extra features that align with the Tasha's rules and have them set as Replacement rather than Granted, and to replace the otherwise "static" traits. If it's someone else's public homebrew, there is no way to add this yourself. Your best options are to either recreate the homebrew yourself, or else add manual bonuses and penalties from the Character Builder or the sheet itself.
Hey, does anyone know how to allow players to choose an alternate origin for a homebrew race?

Thanks! I noticed it while tinkering with a rebuild of Gnolls, so appreciated.
