My players are going to encounter a Drow Shadowblade. I want the shadow sword to be a usable magic item, and need stats. The sword in the stat block is probably a shortsword, and it deals an extra 3d6 necrotic damage, plus 3d6 poison damage, which is probably from ordinary poison. It also allows the creation of magical darkness within five feet of the target after each attack. Darkness created on a previous turn can be dismissed when an attack hits to deal 6d6 extra necrotic damage. This can be done once per turn. The drow also has shadow step, but this is probably unrelated to the sword. The sword might be cursed, forcing the usual Gollum affect, causing sunlight sensitivity, or both. Does anyone have any other ideas or feedback?

My posting scheduled is irregular: sometimes I can post twice a week, sometimes twice a day. I may also respond to quick questions, but ignore harder responses in favor of time.
My location is where my character for my home game is (we're doing the wild beyond the witchlight).
