Minty Meltdown. When the Mintstrosity dies, its body begins to decompose and dissolve, creating a sticky or slippery substance that turns the ground around it into difficult terrain. The difficult terrain extends in a 20-foot radius from the Mintstrosity's body and lasts for 1 minute.
Actions
Claw.Melee Weapon Attack:+6 to hit reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage.
Candy Cane Shards. The Mintstrosity swings its candy cane shards, creating a flurry of sharp candy shrapnel. All creatures within a 10-foot radius of the Mintstrosity must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Sticky Shot. The Mintstrosity shoots a sticky glob of candy at a creature within 60 feet of it. The target must make a DC 13 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target is covered in sticky candy and restrained. The target can use its action to make a DC 13 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check to break free.
Description
A towering creature with a sweet, minty scent, the Mintstrosity is a malevolent being that stalks the land in search of its next meal. It is a tall, slender, twisted amalgamation of what appears to be candy and other sweet treats. Its limbs are long, and its body is covered in swirling stripes with sharp, jagged shards that glitter like ice. It's cold and calculating eyes are two different colors: a sickly glowing green iris and bright red pupils. Its mouth is filled with rows of sharp teeth. Its breath smells like a mixture of peppermint, spearmint, and rotting meat.
Some say that the Mintstrosity is a creature of pure malice, while others believe that it is a victim of a dark curse. Whatever its origins, the Mintstrosity is a danger to all who encounter it.
Based on mtg (wilds of eldraine) creature.
Considering making other candy/sweets based monsters.
Sour Gummy Wyrm: A giant sour gummy serpentine dragon. Its eyes would be bright red, and its mouth would be filled with sharp teeth. Potential attack: Sour Breath: The sour gummy wyrm can breathe out a cloud of sour powder that dissolves its enemies.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Golem: A giant golem made of chocolate chip cookies. It is slow and lumbering, but it can deal a lot of damage with its powerful fists.
Jelly Doughnut Juggernaut. It would be a massive creature made entirely of jelly doughnut, with a doughy body and a sugary glaze. However, it would be incredibly agile and powerful.
Lollipop Hydra: A hydra with multiple heads, each of which is topped with a lollipop. The lollipop heads can spit out a sticky goo that can entangle its enemies.
Gummy Bear Swarm: A swarm of hundreds of gummy bears. They are small and weak individually, but they can overwhelm their enemies with their sheer numbers.
