Enlarged spell- When you cast a spell that has an area of effect of 60 feet or smaller, you can spend up to (2) sorcery points to increase or decrease the area by 15 feet per sorcery point spent.
Distant spell; Extended spell; Heightened spell, all deal with different aspects of changing the actual limits of the spells. So, I thought that this would fit nicely into those types of powers and fill in a missing aspect.
Please I would like to add this to my game that I am running but want to make sure that it is well balanced. Constructive criticism and feedback are wanted, but please state your reasons for your opinions.

Increasing the area of effect would drastically increase the power of the spell.
Fireball for example would do 8d6 damage in a 50ft radius. That would be a massive increase in overall damage.
