As some of you might know, a couple of days ago the latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV hit the shelves. Aside from other improvements and new stuff, this expansion introduces the Gunbreaker, a melee tank inspired by the main protagonist and his sworn adversary from Final Fantasy VIII, wielding what is called a Gunblade.
The Gunblade is basically the wet dream of any kid who grew up in the '90s, being an extremely edgy weapon composed of an oversized revolver-like cylinder and an appropriately oversized blade.
So, long story short, to celebrate this new addition to what is at the moment one my favorite games (especially story-wise) I have tried to create a Martial Archetype inspired by this new class, aptly named the Gunbreaker.
Have a look, if you will and leave a comment, but please remember this is not intended to be a balanced or nuanced class, I just thought the best way to convey the feel the class has in the videogame and put it inside the 5ed system.
Hope you enjoy :)
EDIT: Fixed the link to point to the newer version of the class, which ultimately just fixed a few misspellings here and there and clarifies a couple of things.
